How to add embed links in job postings in Recooty

This guide will walk you through the steps to include your company's compliance or GDPR in your job postings. Adding this information helps candidates understand your policies and ensures compliance with legal requirements.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Access Your Recooty Dashboard

  1. Log in to your Recooty account.

  2. Navigate to Profile > Settings > Templates > Application Form.

Step 2: Create a New Question in the Application Form

  1. In the Application Form setup, click on Create a New Question.

Step 3: Set Up the Question

  1. Question Title: Set the question title as: Privacy Policy / Terms & Conditions (what page do you want to show)

  2. Type: Under the question type, select Multiple Choice and mark the question as Required or Optional.

Note:

  1. The link will be embedded only on Multiple Choice type format and the number of choices should be one only.

  2. We use Markdown for this so for noe you can bold the text and can add the link via href.

Step 4: Add Field Options

  1. In the Field Options, paste the following text:

e.g. Having taken note of this **[Privacy Policy](URL of the privacy policy or terms & conditions page of yours)**, pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679, I declare that I have read and understood its content.

Important: This will create clickable links for the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

  1. Click on Add.

Step 5: Save Your Changes

After adding the question, click on Save.

Step 6: Use the Updated Application Form in Job Postings

  1. When posting a job, use this application form by importing it from the existing templates.

  2. Once the job is published, you will see the compliance or GDPR included with clickable links on the careers page or during the application process.

Important: The form will display a checkbox with the proper text, bold styling, and working links, ensuring that candidates can easily access your privacy policy and terms & conditions.
