Jobs using Indeed Apply receive, on average, 45% more apply starts per job and are 2.5x more likely to result in a hire. Jobs that use Indeed Apply are highlighted with an "Easily apply" label, at no additional cost, so they stand out in search results. The short application flow helps reduce candidate drop-off, and every applicant lands in your Recooty pipeline with Indeed recorded as the source, ready to screen, move through your hiring stages and hire without leaving Recooty.

Enabling the Indeed integration
Before you start, please make sure that:
Your company has an active Recooty subscription.
You are signed in as an Owner, Admin or Recruiting Admin. Only these roles can open Job Portals settings.
Your company name in Recooty (Settings → Organization → General) matches your company name exactly as it appears on Indeed.
We recommend an Indeed Employer account that uses an email address on your company's domain, so your jobs and your Indeed account stay aligned.
Indeed is switched on with a single, company-wide setting. Once it is enabled, every job you publish to Top Job Boards is included in the Indeed job feed automatically. There is nothing to configure per job and no API keys to copy.
Step 1: Open Settings and go to Job Portals
Click your profile picture (top right) and choose Settings. In the API & Integrations card, click Job Portals.
Step 2: Find Indeed and click Manage
In Job Portal Integrations, locate Indeed. While the integration is off, the card reads "Post your jobs to Indeed, currently inactive." Click Manage.
Step 3: Allow posting to Indeed
In the Manage Indeed dialog, tick Allow all job openings to be posted to Indeed.
Step 4: Save
Click Save to apply the change for your whole company.
Step 5: Confirm that Indeed is enabled
Recooty confirms with "Job openings will now be posted to Indeed." and the Indeed card now reads "All job openings are being posted to Indeed."

Posting jobs on Indeed
Now that the Indeed integration is enabled, you can post jobs to Indeed straight from Recooty. Before you do, we recommend reviewing Indeed's Job Posting Standards so your content meets their quality expectations for job seekers. Every job is reviewed by Indeed's Trust & Safety team, and the time it takes for a job to go live can vary with current review volume.
For a job to be successfully picked up by Indeed, it must include:
a complete and accurate job title
a clearly defined location (one per job)
a unique and valid URL for each posting (Recooty creates this for you on your careers page)
an effective job description
a clear way to apply (Recooty attaches your online application form to every job automatically)
Please note that including these components does not guarantee that Indeed will publish your job. All jobs are subject to review by Indeed's Aggregation and Trust & Safety teams.
Step 1: Start a new job
Click Post a Job in the top navigation and enter the job title. Use the title candidates actually search for ("Sales Executive", not "Sales Ninja"): Indeed matches searches against common job titles.
Step 2: Complete the job details
Fill in experience level, employment type, job type, a single office location, department and (optionally) salary, then write or generate the job description. Click Save & Next. Title, location and description are what Indeed uses to match your job to searches.
Step 3: Set up the application form
Choose the questions candidates answer when they apply. First name, last name, email, phone number and resume are included by default. Add your own questions or pick from the suggestions, then click Save & Next.
Step 4: Publish to Top Job Boards
On Save & Publish, Indeed is listed first under Premium Job Boards. Click Publish to Top Job Boards to send the job to Indeed and the other boards shown. Publish to Careers Page Only does not send the job to Indeed.
After you publish
The job shows Pending Approval while Recooty checks it against job board guidelines.
Once approved, the job shows Approved and is included in the feed that Indeed reads.
If you later change the title or description of an approved job, the current version stays live while your changes are reviewed.
If a job is rejected, Recooty shows the reason. Edit the job and it is automatically resubmitted for approval.
Receiving candidate applications via Indeed Apply
Without Indeed Apply, candidates who click your job on Indeed are sent to your careers page to apply. With Indeed Apply enabled, job seekers can complete their application on Indeed by clicking Apply now. Indeed Apply helps you get up to 5x more completed applications.
Your jobs stand out in Indeed search results on all devices with the "Easily apply" label.
Each application is added to the job's pipeline in Recooty with Indeed as the source, so you don't have to move candidates across by hand.
Screen, rate, move and hire Indeed candidates exactly like any other applicant.
Tracking results from Indeed
Go to Reports → Candidate Sources to see, for each job board including Indeed, how many candidates applied, how many moved forward in your pipeline and how many were hired. Filter by time period and by job to compare Indeed with your other sources.
Indeed Apply is mobile-friendly!
When the integration is enabled, job seekers can also find your jobs in the Indeed app or on Indeed's mobile site, for a seamless, mobile-friendly application experience. 78% of applications are submitted on Indeed using mobile.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to turn Indeed on for every job?
No. It is a single company-wide setting. Once it is on, every job you publish with Publish to Top Job Boards is sent to Indeed. Jobs published to Careers Page Only or saved as drafts are not.
Who can turn the integration on or off?
Owners, Admins and Recruiting Admins. Hiring Managers and other roles do not see the Job Portals settings.
My job isn't on Indeed yet. What should I check?
Check that (1) Indeed shows "All job openings are being posted to Indeed" in Settings → Job Portals, (2) the job was published to Top Job Boards, and (3) the job is Approved in Recooty, not Pending Approval. Indeed also reviews every job, which can add time, and not every job is guaranteed to be published.
How do I stop posting jobs to Indeed?
Go to Settings → API & Integrations → Job Portals, click Manage on Indeed, untick Allow all job openings to be posted to Indeed and click Save.
Does posting to Indeed cost extra?
Publishing to Indeed through Recooty is included in all paid Recooty plans. Any sponsored or paid promotion on Indeed is arranged directly in your Indeed Employer account.
